Aside from the physical benefits, yoga teaches us techniques for coping with the unique issues kids and young adults are faced with everyday—insecurity about their changing bodies, the enormous pressure to fit in, stress and anxiety.
Yoga and Art will give children a space needed to find inner stillness while awakening their inner creativity.
INDIVIDUAL YOGA+ART FOR ADULTS
We find that emotions are stored in the body. By doing yoga, a person can access deep emotions and by then creating art, one can find a means of expression on a fundamental level.
Anxiety, depression, trauma, family and relationship issues, stress, abuse survivors, addictions, life transitions, menopause, and loss and bereavement are all appropriate for treatment with yoga and art therapy.
