I am a therapist in Windsor, Ontario. I am a Certified Art Therapist and member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA), and registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as a Registered Psychotherapist. I am also an EMDR Therapist, a member of EMDRIA (EMDR International Association) and currently working towards advanced training and certification.  I am a Certified Yoga Teacher and often integrate trauma informed yoga and mindfulness techniques into the sessions with clients. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I follow a trauma-informed lens, and offer a holistic approach to healing involving body and mind interventions, including Art Therapy, Somatic (Body) Therapy, Mindfulness, and Psychoeducation.

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches including mindfulness and compassion-based approaches, art therapy, expressive arts therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), IFS (Internal Family Systems), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Somatic Experiencing and Therapy, Brainspotting,  and body-oriented trauma processing techniques. I am a Trauma Integration Clinician who supports teens and adults facing a variety of concerns.

I use Somatic Psychotherapy in my practice. I am currently working towards becoming an SEP practitioner (Somatic Experiencing). When words are not enough to help a client heal, a somatic approach to trauma treatment can be effective. Traditional psychotherapy focuses on the cognitive or emotional aspects of the individual, but such an approach is limited. Somatic Psychotherapy joins cognitive and somatic techniques. This is important in treatment as trauma itself can have an overwhelming effect on the body and can manifest as somatic symptoms.

I have helped support adults and adolescents with various matters, such as anxiety, trauma, substance use and addiction, depression, self-esteem and self-worth issues, emotion regulation, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and chronic pain.

I accept all insurance that covers psychotherapy.
