Ease That Starts From Within
Somatic Therapy
If you’re a survivor of complex trauma, or you’ve felt stuck despite years of traditional therapy:
You are not broken. You may just need a different approach.
Somatic Therapy is a body-based approach to healing that supports nervous system regulation, trauma resolution, and emotional integration. Unlike traditional talk therapy, somatic therapy invites the body to lead; because trauma is not just stored in memory, but in muscle tone, breath patterns, posture, and internal sensations. Often times, the brain represses painful memories as a protective mechanism. Even if we wanted to discuss painful events, some clients might have trouble recalling them, and others become retraumatized from retelling the painful details. When we approach trauma processing gently through the body, clients are not retriggered because they are not even asked to talk about the painful events. The whole experience is gentle, and the nervous system is not triggered during trauma or emotional processing.
Somatic Therapy doesn’t just help you understand your trauma. It helps you heal it from the inside out. By working directly with the body, breath, and nervous system, it allows you to finally feel safe, empowered, and connected. Not just in your mind, but in your whole being.

Somatic Experiencing
Somatic Experiencing is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that can be used to treat a wide range of issues, including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It is a trauma-informed approach that respects the client's unique experience and focuses on building a sense of safety and trust between the client and practitioner.
Who May Benefit From Somatic Therapy & Experiencing?
I offer Somatic Therapy & Experiencing for individuals navigating trauma, chronic stress, chronic pain, and relational wounds. Sessions are gentle, attuned, and paced to your nervous system’s capacity. Somatic Experiencing is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the physical sensations of the body as a means of healing trauma, stress, and shock. This method is based on the idea that trauma is not just a mental or emotional experience but also a physical one, and therefore, for sustainable well-being, the body must be included in the healing process.
Somatic Therapy & Experiencing works to help release this traumatic shock and to heal early developmental attachment trauma. Somatic Experiencing allows clients to connect more to their physical experience, gain better control over nervous system regulation, and move through stress.
